AnimeLineArt
✅ verified (run, but not used)
What it is. A generative anime-lineart network whose output looks like a pencil drawing: the lines vary in width and carry grey levels. The ComfyUI node is AnimeLineArtPreprocessor, with weights netG.pth.
What it produces. Lines more than twice as thick as Manga2Anime’s, with grey levels; the inside of the eye as a solid block; dense strands smeared together; and hallucinated texture outside the subject, with a grid pattern appearing in the empty areas at either side of the picture.
Why it is not used. A thick line’s skeleton is unstable when thinned and its grey edges grow whiskers; the eye’s skeleton is a tangle; and hallucinated texture near the outline enters the candidate pool and has to be dropped one line at a time by arbitration. It is a good-looking lineart for a person and a poor input for skeletonizing. It is still produced every time and kept in ai/ for comparison.
